DesireBorn writes erotica with you, not for you. Give it a starting idea, and it writes one section at a time - you steer after each one.

Long-form fiction, built to stay long

Anyone who has tried to get a long story out of an AI knows the shape of the failure. The first two chapters are good. The third repeats a scene from the first. By the fifth, a character's eyes have changed colour, a dead man is back, and the thing the whole story was building toward has been quietly forgotten in favour of whatever was in the last paragraph. The prose is still fine. The story is gone.

The reason is not that the model writes badly. It is that a model, on its own, has no story. It has the text in front of it and nothing else, and when the text gets longer than it can hold, the oldest part drops off the back. Long-form fiction is the exact case that exposes this, because in a long story the early part is the part that matters most.

Three things DesireBorn does about it

It plans before it writes. Given your starting idea, and one line is enough, the engine writes an outline first: an ending it is aiming for and a beat for each section. Every section is written knowing what it is for. That is what stops a long story from drifting into a sequence of scenes that each seemed like a good idea at the time.

It keeps a story state of its own. Between sections, DesireBorn maintains a record separate from the prose: who the people are and what they have done, what has been established as true, which threads are open and unresolved, and what has been planted to pay off later. When it writes section twelve, it is not scanning eleven sections of text hoping the important part is still in view. It is reading a state that was built for this purpose. What was true on page four is still true on page forty because the engine wrote it down.

It writes one section at a time, and lets you steer between them. A section is the unit: you read it, then either tell the story what should happen next in a sentence, or leave the field open and let it continue. When a story is long, this matters more than it sounds, because a small correction early is cheap and a big one late is not. If the engine has misread what you wanted from a character, you fix it in the steering field and the fix is carried forward from there.

A story can also outgrow its plan. If it reaches the ending the outline was aiming for and you want more, you can extend it, and the engine plans onward from what has actually happened rather than from what it once intended.

What long means here

A story can run long, section after section, and you always read a finished section rather than a stream of fragments. The premise you give it can be a single line or a full cast with histories; whatever you leave open is chosen to fit the idea you gave. Genre, tone, point of view, tense and how much should happen per section are all optional choices, and all of them can be left to the engine.

The one thing you probably want to set yourself is explicitness. It is a level per story, from a scene that closes at the threshold to one that stays in the room, and it is the same level for the whole story unless you change it.

An example of what continuity looks like on the page

She had not mentioned the letter since the second night, and he had not asked, and that silence had grown its own shape over the weeks: a thing they walked around in the kitchen. So when he said, without turning from the sink, "You could just tell me what it said," it landed in a room that had been waiting for it, and she found that her hands had stopped what they were doing before she had decided anything.

Adult fiction, and the one limit

DesireBorn writes explicit fiction between adults, and long-form is where that fiction is best, because the scene in chapter nine means something the scene in chapter one could not. Everything lawful between consenting adults is fair game at the level you set. One limit is fixed on every story: every character in a sexual context is an adult. It cannot be turned off, softened or configured, by you or by us. No shame. Not no limits.

Where the story lives

A long story is a lot of text about what you want, and where it is stored matters. Your stories are encrypted at rest. We can read them to write them. Nobody else can read them. The key is held outside the database, so a stolen copy would give up email addresses, the choices you ticked in our menus and some counts, and not a readable word of anyone's story. Deleting a story destroys its key with it.
