Dominance
Dominance is taking control of another person who has agreed to give it. As a theme in adult fiction it covers everything from a lover who simply decides, to a full arrangement of rules and consequences, and the readers who tick it are usually after one quality above all: competence. A dominant character who is good at it. Who reads the other person, sets the pace, notices what is working, and stops when stopping is what the moment needs.
The cliche is loudness. Orders barked, a costume, a personality made entirely of the word "mine". The version readers actually want is quieter and harder to write: dominance as attention. The dominant partner in a good scene is the one doing the most watching, and the control comes from that watching, not from volume.
How the engine handles it. With Dominance ticked, the plan builds the story around control as its subject: who holds it, how it was taken, what the dominant partner gets from holding it that they could not get another way. The engine writes the dominant as the one paying attention, and treats checking in as part of the dynamic rather than an interruption of it. A safeword established on the page is honoured on the page. The story state carries the terms of the arrangement, so a rule set in section two is still a rule in section ten, and a shift in who holds control is registered as a shift. Its mirror is submission; the two together, negotiated, are what DesireBorn Bound calls power exchange.
Your stories are encrypted at rest. We can read them to write them. Nobody else can read them.
